Temporarily guards against all attacks upon pressing ↓ + [attack]. You can counterattack with a normal attack or a skill after guarding against an enemy attack. Upon counterattacking with a skill, regains 30% of its cooldown. Perfect Guard: Activates upon guarding against an enemy attack at the right timing. Enhances normal attacks for 12 seconds, and counterattacking with a skill activates an enhanced skill.
Temporarily guards against all attacks for 1 second upon swapping. Using this swap skill to guard against an enemy attack activates Perfect Guard regardless of timing and increases Physical Attack by 30% for 12 seconds.

One skill cast will not sustain poison indefinitely. Reapply through other critical hits and swaps. Reapplication refreshes duration; poison damage itself cannot critically hit. Use short blocks at Common and skill counters from Unique. At Legendary, time the Crush Their Formation counter after a perfect block. Dodge difficult attack strings while keeping poison active. The simulator fills available slots with recommended candidates. Remove or replace them to suit your run.
Guaranteed critical hits start at Rare. Secure poison application before completing inscriptions. Use swaps with Inner Malice and extra hits from Fatal Sword; if the gear is missing, progress with physical counters. Defense and recovery buy time to sustain poison. No particular Legendary item or quintessence is required.
Block a manageable attack, then concentrate physical attack and critical damage into a counter with Aim for the Heart.
After a successful short block, land a heavy skill and evade the next attack. Use Soul Strike on a heavy skill with a 2-second gap against the same enemy, without taking a hit just to wait. At Legendary, use the Crush Their Formation counter after a perfect block for a barrier. The 12-second basic attack buff does not extend the counter input window to 12 seconds. The simulator fills available slots with recommended candidates. Remove or replace them to suit your run.
Rare unlocks guaranteed critical hits; Unique adds skill counters and cooldown refunds. Prioritize physical damage and cooldowns, then extend critical damage with Hunter's Wooden Longbow and Veiled Mask. The mask lowers other attacks' critical chance and is optional. The bonus from Great Sage’s Time changes with the number of cooling skills. Specific Legendary gear is not required to counter.
