Ghoooooul

Skills

Passive effect

Pressing ↑ + [attack] performs a hook attack, dealing Physical damage. When attacking with normal attacks, enemies may drop a chunk of flesh based on certain chance. When performing a bite attack or acquiring flesh, its size increases for 20 seconds and amplifies Physical attack by 2%. When more than 5 flesh chunks are acquired, pressing ↓ + consumes all current stacks to replenish a portion of lost HP and releases a deadly gas, dealing Physical damage. Gas damage is based on the number of flesh chunks consumed. Tackle: Dashes are considered attacks. Cannot dash consecutively.

Rend FleshSwap

Recommended Builds

Heal through Revenge, keep dealing physical damage

Revenge and flesh healing buy time for sustained physical attacks. Relic 4 is optional.

Skills

Inhale
Recommended The final form builds physical amplification through bite hits; one use does not guarantee the cap.
Wide Slash
Recommended Hits in the final form help build attack speed.

Items

Rejuvenating Root
Recommended Provides a little healing after damage. It supplies Revenge, not Relic.
Discolored Dark Quartz Shard
Recommended An early source of Revenge and maximum HP; replace it when better Revenge equipment appears.
Passed-Down Scabbard
Recommended Healing enables physical follow-ups. It works without Relic 4.
Hand of Glory
Recommended Converts maximum HP into physical attack, up to its attack bonus cap.
Bone of Courage
Use its brief physical amplification window. The Power skull bonus is not permanently active.

Inscriptions

Revenge2
Core Counterattack within 2 seconds of taking damage to heal. It cannot refund every hit in a barrage.
Courage2
Recommended A candidate for physical attack and the inscriptions you currently need.
Arms2
A candidate for physical attack and the inscriptions you currently need.

Dark Abilities

Piety
Recommended Improves healing and post-heal attack.
Reckless Posture
Recommended Use the short offensive and defensive boost after taking damage.

How to Play

Self-healing becomes available at Unique. Gather flesh with basic attacks, counter after taking damage, and heal before danger becomes fatal rather than waiting for maximum stacks. Staying on Ghoul is the default.

Why It Works

Secure Revenge 2, then Courage 2 and physical attack. Replace Rejuvenating Root with other Revenge gear if needed. Passed-Down Scabbard works without Relic 4. Once survival is steady, replace excess defense with damage. The simulator equips recommended and alternative candidates together, trimming any that exceed its slots. Treat them as options, not a mandatory finished set.

Turn healing into Relic and scabbard damage

Add Relic 4 to the Revenge foundation when enough useful Relic items turn up.

The Chosen Cleric’s Bible
A powerful healing-based option if found; do not delay a functional build waiting for this Legendary.

Inscriptions

Revenge2
Core Counterattack within 2 seconds of taking damage to heal. It cannot refund every hit in a barrage.
Relic4
Core The 4-piece effect requires a hit after healing and has a per-enemy trigger limit.
Courage2
A candidate for physical attack and the inscriptions you currently need.

Dark Abilities

Piety
Recommended Improves healing and post-heal attack.
Reckless Posture
Recommended Use the short offensive and defensive boost after taking damage.

How to Play

After reaching Unique, heal through flesh and Revenge, then keep hitting. Healing alone does not automatically trigger Relic against every enemy. Dodge dangerous chains and keep physical damage relevant as boss HP falls.

Why It Works

Maintain Revenge 2 while building Relic 4. Rejuvenating Root supplies no Relic stacks. If completing Relic costs too much physical damage, keep the physical build and use Passed-Down Scabbard on its own. The simulator equips recommended and alternative candidates together, trimming any that exceed its slots. Treat them as options, not a mandatory finished set.
